HAVE NOT HAD INSECT PROBLEMS BECAUSE ROTATE CROP EVERY 3 YEARS TO DIFFERENT SPOT I have not had problems with thrips, butI would check plants on the inner leaves near the bulb..... to insure that I do not get this problem I would not plant close to onions and crop rotation.

I ROTATE CROP EVERY 3 YEARS SO THERE IS NOT A PROBLEM WITH DISEASE. I have not had problems with rust, butI would check the leaves closely and cut the leaves off and disregard. Good garlic seed selection.

Please describe your buffer. Be as specific as possible. On all sides, how far is it from your crops to the next closest use (road, conventional crop, residential yard)? Be sure to specify what is grown on neighboring land that is in agricultural use. For example: To the north and east, a wooded area of at least 100 yards separates us from the neighbor's corn fields, to the south is a fallow field at least 100 yards deep separating us from the road, and to the west about 60 feet separates our crops from a field where conventional corn and soybeans are grown. *
I HAVE 3 ARCES THIS CROP IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 3 ARCES. THE EAST LINE TO THE NEIGHBORS IS 100 YARDS THE SOUTH LINE WOODED AREA TO NEIGHBORS IS 200 YARDS NORTH LINE IS 120 YARDS AND THE WEST SIDE IS A ROAD 500 YARDS.
