Allegheny College Carr Hall Garden
Meadville, Pennsylvania
Allegheny College's Carr Hall Garden was established in 2013. Our goal has always been to provide fresh food to our campus and local community. We grow a variety of produce, herbs, and even some fruit. Despite being only 3,000 square feet, our garden serves as a educational tool, representing our values of community and sustainability.
CNG's mission of empowering small-scale farms through grassroots accountability of quality, organic products align with our values. Students in a class called "Small-scale Production Agriculture" recommended that the Carrden pursue this certification, after researching many other options.
